The "Scan QR Code" screen guides you to scan the QR code displayed on your phone using the camera. Follow these tips to make this process smooth:
- Screen Brightness: Increase your phone's screen brightness to the maximum to make the QR code easier for the camera to read.
- Distance and Angle: Adjust the distance between the camera and your phone, starting from about 6-8 inches, and gradually change the angle until you hear a successful scanning beep.
- Cleanliness: Make sure both the camera lens and your phone's screen are clean to prevent any hindrance in reading the QR code.
- Camera Power: Check if your camera is powered adequately to avoid any scanning malfunctions.
- Obstructions: If there is a screen protector covering the camera lens, remove it to prevent any interference with the reading.
- Lighting Conditions: Avoid backlighting or glare on your phone's screen as it can hinder proper reading of the QR code.
- Screen Orientation: If your phone is in Dark Mode, switch to Light Mode to improve the visibility of the QR code.
- Using a Larger Display: In case the scanning fails, try capturing a screenshot of the QR code and transfer it to a larger display (tablet or computer) or print it out for easier reading by the camera.
The QR code is valid for 2 hours after it is generated. Make sure to complete the process within this time frame for successful pairing.
