Add a delay in a scenario

This allows you to insert a pause between two actions while playing a scenario.

Here is how to use it:

  • Add a delay: Select the desired time interval between two actions to create a pause in your scenario’s execution.
  • Understand the icons: During the waiting time, the icon representing your scenario will change from a triangle play.svg to a square icon_stop.svg, indicating that the scenario is in a waiting phase.
If you want to stop the scenario before the end of the waiting time, simply press the square icon icon_stop.svg. The remaining actions will not be executed in this case.

This allows you to further customize your scenarios by controlling the timing between different actions, for a home that adapts perfectly to your needs.

Notes

  • The maximum waiting time between 2 actions is 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
  • A scenario can have a maximum of 5 waiting times or ranges.

Example of use

For example, you can set up a scenario triggered by a motion detector that will turn on a light for 5 minutes before turning it off again. Your scenario will then have 3 actions:

  1. Turning on the light: After detection, the light turns on immediately.
  2. Adding the waiting time: You then insert a 5-minute waiting time after the on action.
  3. Turning off the light: After the delay, the light turns off automatically.
