The “Choose an object state as a scenario condition” screen allows you to select a specific state of a connected object that will authorize a scenario to be triggered. This means that when the object is in the state chosen here, the scenario you have configured will be authorized to run, if its trigger is activated.
Here is how to proceed:
- Selecting the state: after having chosen an object, you will see the list of all the possible states for this specific object. These states can vary depending on the object type (for instance, a sensor can have states like “humidity lower or higher than --%”, a plug can be “on” or “off”, etc.).
- Once you have selected the desired state, follow the instructions on screen to finalize your scenario configuration. This may include specifying other parameters or confirming your choice.
Note: the screen only displays the states that are supported as conditions, by the selected object.
