Before You Start the Update
To ensure the update goes smoothly, we recommend checking the following points:
- Stable and fast internet connection: Make sure you have a good internet connection to download the update.
- Charge your iPhone: Ensure your iPhone is charged to at least 50%, or ideally, plug it into a power source during the update.
- Check storage space: Updates require some free space. If your iPhone is low on space, you may need to free up room by deleting unnecessary apps or files.
Update Your iPhone
- Go to the Settings app
on your iPhone. Tap General, then tap “Software Update.”
The current installed iOS version is displayed, along with the availability of an update.
- If an update is available, tap “Download and Install,” then follow the on-screen instructions.
