Using a Plug with Consumption/Production Feedback

This guide helps you use the app to control your plugs, automate their operation, and monitor your electrical flows.

The plug models that allow you to choose between Consumption or Production are as follows:

  • Wi-Fi Plug with DIO Current Measurement

  • Wi-Fi Plug with USB DIO

  • Outdoor Wi-Fi Plug with DIO Current Measurement

  • Wi-Fi Biplite with DIO Current Measurement

Plug Status (On / Off)

Allows you to view the current status of the plug and control it.

Schedules

The Schedules section allows you to Create a schedule for your device

Timer

The Timer lets you set a countdown for the plug. Once the time expires, the plug will automatically switch to the requested state.

Active Power or Instantaneous Production

The Active Power block shows the amount of energy currently consumed by the device plugged into the outlet, expressed in Watts (W).

Specific Note: If you have changed the device type in the settings to indicate that a producing device is connected, this block automatically changes to display Instantaneous Production. It then shows the energy injected into your system by your production source.

Consumption or Production History

The Plug History allows you to track energy changes over different periods (Day, Week, Month, Year).

  • Estimate (€): Displays an energy cost conversion based on your tariff settings.

  • Consumption (kWh): Shows the total energy consumed over the selected period.

If the plug is configured in production mode, the interface will display the Production History to track the energy generated by your equipment.

Glossary

  • Active Power: Electrical power actually consumed by a device at a given moment, expressed in Watts.

  • Production: Energy flow generated by equipment (e.g., solar panel) and injected into the home's electrical circuit.
