Using a Socket with Consumption/Production Monitoring

This app screen allows you to control the status of your smart socket, schedule its operation, and monitor in real time the electrical power (consumed or produced) as well as the associated history.

Socket Status (On / Off)

Allows you to view the current status of the socket and control it.

Schedules

The Schedules section allows you to Create a schedule for your device

Timer

The Timer allows you to set a countdown for the socket. Once the time has elapsed, the socket will automatically switch to the requested state.

Active Power or Instantaneous Production

The Active Power block shows the amount of energy being consumed in real time by the device plugged into the socket, expressed in Watts (W).

Specific Note: If you have changed the device type in the settings to indicate that a producing device is connected, this block will automatically switch to display Instantaneous Production. It then shows the energy injected into your setup by your production source.

Consumption or Production History

The Socket History allows you to track the energy trends over different periods (Day, Week, Month, Year).

  • Estimate (€): Shows a conversion of the energy cost based on your rate settings.

  • Consumption (kWh): Shows the total energy consumed over the selected period.

If the socket is set to production mode, the interface will display the Production History to track the energy generated by your equipment.

Glossary

  • Active Power: The actual electrical power consumed by a device at a given moment, expressed in Watts.

  • Production: The flow of energy generated by equipment (e.g., solar panel) and injected into the household electrical circuit.
