With your module connected to your water heater, you can easily control hot water production from the app: choose a control mode including two types of schedules, start a one-time boost, or automatically take advantage of off-peak hours if your contract allows.
The Different Control Modes
Your water heater offers 4 modes accessible from the Control Mode card.
Off
The water heater is completely turned off.
It no longer produces hot water.
Forced On
Immediately activates the water heater to produce hot water according to the temperature set on it.
In this mode, Boost is not available, as the water heater is already activated.
Individual Schedule
The water heater operates only according to the time slots you define to precisely adapt heating to your habits.
A default schedule is offered to you, which can be modified.
You can have several individual schedules per water heater.
Peak / Off-Peak Schedule (HP/HC) (France only)
This mode automatically optimizes your consumption by using your off-peak hours.
The water heater:
- heats during off-peak hours (cheaper),
- stops during peak hours.
To generate an HP/HC schedule, you must have an electricity contract with the Peak / Off-Peak option and have entered this information in the app settings (Settings > Home > Electricity Contracts).
- Select the HP/HC Schedule mode
- Press Generate
If you have not entered your HP/HC information, a message will inform you that your contract information is missing.
Once your HP/HC schedule is generated, you can modify it after updating your contract information in the app settings.
You can only have one HP/HC schedule per water heater module.
How to Change Modes?
- Open your water heater in the app
- Press Control Mode
- Select the desired mode
- Confirm
⚠️ You cannot change modes if:
- a Boost is in progress
- a Gain is active
You will need to stop these to be able to change the control mode again.
Boost: Turn on the Water Heater for a Chosen Duration
Boost allows you to temporarily turn on your water heater, even outside scheduled times.
To activate a Boost:
- Press Switch to Boost
- Choose a duration
- Confirm
The water heater starts immediately and heats if necessary according to the temperature set on it.
Boost is temporary and takes priority if a schedule is active; at the end of the Boost, the schedule automatically resumes.
Boost is not available in forced on mode or during an active Gain.
Gain in Progress: What Does This Mean?
When the Gain in Progress message appears, your water heater is temporarily participating in a Bonus Energy program action.
During this period:
- The Bonus Energy program may temporarily suspend heating to optimize consumption
If a Boost was active, it is stopped and cannot be restarted during this period
Mode change is not possible, unless you stop the Gain in Progress via the Stop Gain button. Warning: this may affect your Bonus Energy
Priority of Actions
The water heater always follows this logic:
Gain in Progress > Boost > Schedule
This means:
- Gain in Progress always takes priority,
- Otherwise Boost applies,
- Otherwise the normal schedule operates.
Heating
The Heating message and the 🔥 mean that your water heater is currently heating water.
