Aruba - N3 - Comment changer le sens de rotation.gif

Here are your device's advanced features:

1. Rotation direction: This function allows you to change the rotation direction of your fan.
Flèche Enki.png Summer : counterclockwise rotation → downward airflow, providing a cooling sensation
Flèche Enki.png Winter: clockwise rotation → warm air accumulated at the ceiling is redistributed downwards

Assistant - Exclamation.gif

"I want to warn you that it is essential tostop the fan rotation before reversing its rotation direction."

Assistant - Parle.gif

"Significant energy savings can be achieved by using a fan simultaneously with a heating or air conditioning system. By combining these two devices, you optimize the distribution of warm or cool air in your space, which helps maintain a comfortable temperature while reducing overall energy consumption."

2. Change Wi-Fi network: This feature will guide you through a procedure to change the configuration and connect your device to another Wi-Fi network.

This option is particularly useful if your Wi-Fi network has undergone changes, such as changing the SSID (network name), password, replacing your internet box, or if you simply want to connect the fan to a different Wi-Fi network.

"A detailed description of this function is available in another article. To access it, please consult the following product sheet:  The Inspire Ceiling Fans - Product Sheets."

"Congratulations, you now master the basics to control your device directly via the Enki application."

To know:

  • Is it possible to change the type of action triggered when clicking on my device's icon on the "Home" main screen?
Flèche Enki.png No, this action is predefined and it is not possible to customize the type of action at this level.

  • Can I change the type of status feedback information displayed on my device's tile on the "Home" main screen ?
Flèche Enki.png No, this information is fixed by our developers. It is the information most frequently consulted by our users and is therefore displayed.

  • Why does my device's status feedback no longer appear on my device's tile on the "Home" main screen after a certain time?
Flèche Enki.png The status feedback of your device displayed on the home page is kept for seven days. If the device does not change its state during this period, its status feedback will be deleted and no state will be displayed afterwards. Indeed, the device will then be considered inactive or disconnected. To restore the display of the state, the device must change state and transmit this information to the platform.

  • A red exclamation mark appears on my device's tile on the "Home" main screen. What does it mean?
Flèche Enki.png It indicates that the device is offline and can no longer connect to the platform. It is recommended, first, to power cycle your device. If the problem persists, please restart your Internet box to try to restore the connection.
  • If I control my device via its button or remote control directly, is the status feedback updated in the application?
Flèche Enki.png Yes, as soon as an event changes the device's state (pressing the device button, power cut and restoration, command via its dedicated remote control, etc.), the device transmits its state to the platform. The platform then updates this state both on the "Home" main page and on the device control page.

  • If I physically turn off my device (for example, a wall switch), can I turn it back on via the application?
Flèche Enki.png No, if you cut the physical power supply to the device, such as with a wall switch or power strip, the device will no longer be powered. Therefore, it will no longer be connected and cannot respond to commands sent from the application. The device must remain constantly powered to be controlled remotely.
