Introduction:

Definition of a Timer:

A timer is a command that instructs an object to change its state after a set delay (seconds, minutes, hours). Once activated, it counts down and executes the action at zero.

It allows you to perform a simple action after a defined time.

To program a timer, you must define:

  • The duration: the operating time (e.g., 15 minutes, 2 hours).
  • The final state: the action to perform (turn on or turn off).

Reasons to Use a Timer:

Forgetfulness will no longer be an issue: this system automatically turns off your devices, preventing waste and risks associated with prolonged use.

It limits the usage time of energy-consuming devices, thereby reducing your consumption and electricity bills while protecting the environment.

Comfort is improved: no need to get up or use a smartphone, the timer manages everything automatically for easy control of your equipment.
