This allows you to insert a pause between two actions when a scenario is running.
Here's how to use it:
- Add a Delay: Select how long you want the delay to last in between two actions to pause your scenario.

Understanding the Icons: During the delay, your scenario icon will change from a triangle
to a square
, showing that the scenario is in a waiting phase.
If you want to stop the scenario before the delay is completed, simply press on the square icon
This allows you to further customize your scenarios by controlling the timing between actions, to have a home that adapts perfectly to your needs.
Example of usage
For example, you can create a scenario that turns on a light when a motion sensor is triggered, then have the light turn off again after 5 minutes. Your scenario would have 3 actions:
- Turn on the light: As soon as there is motion, the light turns on.
- Add a delay: You insert a delay of 5 minutes after the action for the light to turn on.
- Turn off the light: After the delay, the light automatically turns off.
