What is manual override?
Manual override is an essential feature for managing your thermal comfort on a daily basis. It allows you to temporarily change the temperature of your heating equipment without altering your usual schedule.
Why use manual override?
This option is ideal for addressing occasional and unexpected needs, such as:
- An unexpected presence: You are at home during a time slot when the heating is usually in "Eco" mode.
- A comfort need: You are hosting guests or suddenly feel cold.
- A weather change: The outside temperature drops abruptly.
How to activate an override in the Enki app?
To temporarily adjust the temperature, follow these steps:
- Open the Enki app.
- Go to the "Heating" section or directly to the control screen of your equipment (radiator, thermostat, or thermostatic head).
- Find the option "Create an override" (this option only appears if your device is included in an active heating schedule)
- Set the new temperature and the duration of the override
- Confirm to activate the change
Your heating will follow this new setting until the end of the defined duration or until you decide to end the override.
Impact on your schedule
Rest assured: using manual override does not erase your settings.
- It is priority over the current program, but only temporarily.
- Once the override ends, your equipment will automatically resume its usual program or scenarios.
How to end an ongoing override?
You no longer need this additional heating and wish to return to normal scheduling before the allotted time ends?
- Go back to your equipment's control screen.
- Locate the text "Override until..." (which replaces the "Create an override" option).
- Tap on it to open the detail screen.
- Click the Delete button at the bottom of the screen.
Your heating will immediately resume following the originally planned schedule or mode.
