Some radiators are equipped with occupancy or motion sensors. When no activity is detected for a certain period, the radiator may report an absence detection.
Important: this detection does not trigger any automatic heating regulation.
The radiator does not change its temperature or operation. It simply informs you of a possible prolonged absence in the room.
What is the purpose of this information?
The goal is to help you better understand and potentially optimize your usage.
For example, if a room is unoccupied for several hours, this may be an opportunity to manually adjust the heating to save energy.
What to do if the alert appears?
-
No action is required if everything is normal.
-
You can choose to manually lower the temperature if you know the room will remain empty.
-
The occupancy/absence information automatically updates as soon as movement is detected again.
