Troubleshooting tip
Prerequisites:
If a Wi-Fi device does not connect to your network, this may be due to:
An incorrect Wi-Fi password.
A password format not supported by the device.
Poor local Wi-Fi connection quality.
To connect your Wi-Fi device correctly, meet the following requirements:
Unplug any other Wi-Fi transmitter (e.g., repeaters). Only your router should transmit the signal during pairing and testing.
Your Wi-Fi password must contain only uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers. No special characters, punctuation, accents, or cedillas.
Some products cannot handle or translate certain characters. Example:
Invalid Wi-Fi password: Dn48Jk!9-F2@mé
Valid Wi-Fi password: Dn48JkL9xF2ame
Wi-Fi encryption must be WPA2. WPA and WPA/WPA2 encryption should be avoided because they create vulnerabilities and malfunctions with our devices. WPA3 and WEP are not compatible with our devices.

If your smartphone indicates that the Wi-Fi password is incorrect, here are some tips:
Check the label on your internet router for the security key.
If your router has a screen, display the key on it (see the user manual).
Access the router's administration page to check the password (if necessary, consult your provider's FAQs).
Contact your carrier or network administrator for help.
If your Wi-Fi password is correct but the device does not connect, check the encryption, frequency, and network quality. Use a Wi-Fi analysis app or contact your carrier or network administrator.
