This article explains how to manually reset your Schneider connected in-wall switch to restore it to its default factory settings.
When to Perform a Reset?
You should perform a reset in the following cases:
- The switch no longer responds to commands
- Network or Bluetooth connection issues
- Lighting control malfunction
- Before transferring the device to another user
After a technical malfunction
Reset Procedure
Step 1: Perform the Reset Sequence
- Briefly press the upper part of the switch 3 times (each press should last less than 0.5 seconds)
- Then hold down the upper part of the switch for more than 10 seconds
- After 10 seconds, the LED starts blinking red
Release the button as soon as the LED blinks red
Step 2: Verify the Reset Was Successful
- The LED stops blinking
- The device restarts automatically
- The LED then blinks green for a few seconds
Finally, the LED turns solid amber (orange), indicating the switch is ready for new pairing
⚠️ Important to Remember
All data is erased during the reset:
- Configuration settings
- User data and programmed scenarios
- Network connection settings
- Timers and scheduled programming
After the reset, you will need to fully reconfigure your switch as if it were a first installation.
Next Steps
Once the reset is complete, you will need to:
- Reinstall your switch in your Enki app
- Reconfigure the settings
Reprogram timers and lighting scenarios
Troubleshooting Tips
If the reset does not work:
- Check that the power supply is correct
- Make sure the switch is properly powered
- Press the reset button firmly
- Precisely follow the timing indicated in the sequence
If the problem persists, cut power at the breaker for 30 seconds and then try again
