This article explains how to manually reset your Schneider connected dimmer switch to its default factory settings.
When to Perform a Reset?
You should perform a reset in the following cases:
- The dimmer no longer responds to dimming commands
- Malfunction of the lighting dimming
- Faulty brightness settings
Before transferring the device to another user
Reset Procedure
Preliminary Step: Preparation
Remove the knob from the dimmer to access the reset push button located underneath.
Step 1: Perform the Reset Sequence
- Briefly press the push button 3 times (each press should last less than 0.5 seconds)
- Then hold the push button down for more than 10 seconds
Step 2: Observe Visual Signals
- After 10 seconds, the LED starts blinking red
- Release the push button as soon as you see the red blinking
Step 3: Verify Reset Success
- Once the reset is successful, the LED stops blinking
- The dimmer restarts automatically
- The LED then blinks green for a few seconds
Finally, the LED turns orange, indicating the device is ready for pairing

All data is erased during the reset:
- Scenarios and scheduled programming
- Minimum and maximum power settings
