Setting Up Your Outlet with Consumption/Production Feedback

This page details the configuration options available for your smart outlet. It allows you to customize the device’s identity and, most importantly, to specify whether the outlet should measure the consumption of an electrical appliance or the production of a solar kit.

The outlet models that allow you to choose between Consumption or Production are as follows:

  • Wi-Fi Outlet with DIO Current Measurement

  • Wi-Fi Outlet with USB DIO

  • Outdoor Wi-Fi Outlet with DIO Current Measurement

  • Wi-Fi Biplite with DIO Current Measurement

Naming and Identifying the Smart Outlet

The Object Name field allows you to give a personalized name to the smart outlet to easily recognize it in your interface (e.g., "Washing Machine" or "South Solar Panel").

Assigning to a Room

The Room menu lets you set the location of the smart outlet within your home.

Selecting the Type of Connected Object (Consumption vs. Production)

The Object Type setting is central to how the energy monitoring interface behaves.

  • Consumes: For example, if you have plugged an appliance or a light into the outlet. This setting tells the app that the device connected to the outlet consumes electricity.

  • Produces: For example, if you have plugged a solar kit into the outlet. This setting tells the app that the device connected to the outlet generates electricity.

kWh Price Including Taxes

Data available only if you have chosen an Produces object type. Allows you to enter the cost of electricity from your contract to estimate the money saved in your production history.

Startup State (After Power Outage)

The Startup State function lets you define the behavior of the smart outlet following a power outage. You can choose among three options:

  • On: The smart outlet automatically turns "ON" as soon as power is restored.

  • Off: The smart outlet remains "OFF" after the outage.

  • Last State: The smart outlet resumes the state (On or Off) it was in just before the power interruption.

Version

Indicates the current firmware version of the device

Push Notification

Enable this to allow the outlet to send push notifications (e.g., in case of overload)

Delete Device

The Delete Device button located at the bottom of the screen allows you to unlink the smart outlet from your app. This action resets the device’s configuration data in the app but does not delete the overall consumption history already recorded on your account.

Glossary

  • Firmware: Internal program of the smart outlet that ensures its operation and communication.
