Set Up Your Enki & Matter WiFi Bulb

Introduction: This guide walks you through customizing and managing your connected bulb’s settings. Learn how to organize your installation, set the bulb’s behavior in the event of a power outage, and integrate it into your local smart home ecosystem.

💡 Setup guide

Change your device’s name

To identify your equipment more easily in your daily life, simply change its name from the general settings by choosing a clear name that perfectly reflects its purpose in your home.

Assign your device to a room

For optimal organization and more intuitive control of your lighting, assign your bulb to the specific room in your home where it is installed.

Device information and software version

If you need to view the technical documentation, check for a software update, or contact our support team, quickly find all the essential identification details, such as the manufacturer’s name and the exact model of your bulb, in the dedicated section.

Startup state

To avoid any unexpected lighting after a power outage, anticipate how your bulb will behave when power is restored by choosing in the advanced settings whether it should always turn on, remain off, or simply return to the last state it was in just before the interruption.

Pair with a Matter hub

To enhance your experience by controlling your bulb locally from your home network while retaining the convenience of remote control through the Enki app, pair your equipment with a Matter-compatible hub in just a few clicks from the advanced settings.

Remove this device from your account

When you no longer need your equipment or plan to replace it with a new model, permanently remove it from your installation by using the delete button.

⚠️ Warning: This action is irreversible and triggers a complete reset of the bulb. Therefore, if you paired a Lexman remote control directly with the bulb, or shared it with another Matter hub (Apple Home, Google Home, etc.), these connections will be immediately deleted. You will need to repeat their respective pairing procedures if you want to use them again.

ℹ️ Good to know: When customizing your installation, be sure never to enter personal information in free-text fields (for example, use a generic name such as "Guest Room" rather than "John Martin's Room") to protect your privacy.
