Reminder: The schedule organizes the operation of all the heating devices in your home 🏠, not just one radiator or one room. It applies to your entire home 🏠 to ensure overall thermal comfort. When creating the schedule, think about your entire home 🏠, not an isolated area. This tutorial guides you through effectively scheduling your heating according to your needs. This allows you to define a personalized schedule that ensures thermal comfort while optimizing energy consumption. |
Example of creating a schedule:
Our home:
|
Here is our home 🏠. It consists of three rooms equipped with heating. The home 🏠 is organized as follows:
We therefore have three radiators to integrate into the schedule. |
|
How do you create a schedule 📅 for the three heating systems? We will use the “full integration” 🕰️ method for a precise and detailed 7-day schedule, with each day divided into 24 hours. It will be necessary to determine the status of the heating devices at each moment, particularly at midnight, and then note the times when these statuses change. |
|
It is essential to clearly define your heating schedules to optimize their efficiency and ensure suitable comfort. Here, the schedules from Monday through Friday are identical, reflecting a work routine, while the weekend schedules differ to accommodate specific habits. During the week, the heating is reduced while people are away at work, but on weekends it is programmed for optimal comfort at home. |
|
What temperatures 🌡️ are recommended in a home? The recommended temperatures 🌡️ in a home are as follows:
During a prolonged absence from a room, it is recommended to lower the temperature 🌡️ by 2 to 3 degrees to avoid unnecessary heating. |
Creating a schedule for heating devices:
|
Monday through Friday: At night, the bedroom is heated for optimal comfort. In the morning, before waking up, the bathroom is heated. Then, the bedroom cools down while the living room heats up to be comfortable before leaving for work. During the day, the temperature remains stable but reduced to prevent the room from becoming cold. At the end of the day, the living room is heated for a comfortable return home. In the evening, the bedroom heats up again and the living room cools down for a good night’s sleep. The radiator schedules are shown, with the periods when temperatures are high marked in red, making it easier to visualize the active heating periods:

Using the schedule for each radiator, we can create an overall schedule for the home 🏠. First, we need to know the status of each radiator at midnight, then note each time when a status change (on, off, or temperature change) occurs throughout the day. This gives us a precise schedule for radiator operation in the home 🏠. According to this schedule, the following commands will therefore be applied to the heating in the different rooms of the home 🏠:
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We therefore obtain a configuration with six modes, named as follows: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

|
Saturday and Sunday: At night, the bedroom heating maintains a comfortable temperature. In the morning, it decreases slightly, while the living room radiator heats throughout the day to ensure comfort. At 7:00 PM, the bathroom heating turns on for one hour. In the evening, the bedroom heats up before the living room turns off. The radiator schedules are shown, with the periods when temperatures are high marked in red, making it easier to visualize the active heating periods:

Let’s name our modes so that we can configure them in the app before creating the schedule:
|
| Great. Now that the radiator schedules 🕰️ in each room of the home 🏠 have been defined and we have adapted our different modes, we need to program these settings in the Enki app 📅 |
How to enter this schedule in the app:
|
As a reminder, the system includes three default modes:
These modes are essential for proper operation and cannot be deleted. However, you can customize them: change their name, choose the devices they activate, and adjust the associated rules according to your needs. |
| Since we know the six modes to create, let's start by creating all of them so that we have the ones needed to build the schedule. |
|
01 - Let's start by modifying mode no. 1 (M1), "Night." Click the mode name to edit it. You can then:
|
02 - Let's set up the "Night" mode. Adjust the temperature using the "+" and "-" buttons according to the schedule:
Confirm by clicking "✓" in the upper-right corner (or "Save" at the bottom on Android). |
|
03 - To create the new mode no. 2 (M2), follow these steps:
The add page offers:
|
04 - Let's create our "Morning - Heat bathroom" mode for a clear name. Set the temperatures using the "+" and "-" buttons according to the schedule:
Confirm by clicking "✓" on iOS or "Save" on Android to save your new mode. |
|
05 - Let's create the new mode no. 3 (M3). Follow these steps:
The add page offers:
|
06 - Let's create the "Bathroom + Living Room" mode to heat these two rooms. Set the temperatures using the "+" and "-" buttons according to the schedule:
Confirm by clicking "✓" on iOS or "Save" on Android to save your new mode. |
|
07 - The next mode no. 4 (M4) will heat only the living room and will be used when we are present in the main living area. We will therefore modify the "Present" mode, the primary mode for being home. Click the mode name to edit it. You can then:
|
08 - Let's set up the "Present" mode. Adjust the temperature using the "+" and "-" buttons according to the schedule:
Confirm by clicking "✓" in the upper-right corner (or "Save" at the bottom on Android). |
|
09 - The next mode no. 5 (M5) is for when no one is home. It will set all heating devices to the lowest temperature. We will therefore modify the "Away" mode, the primary mode for being away from home. Click the mode name to edit it. You can then:
|
10 - Let's set up the "Away" mode. Set the temperatures using the "+" and "-" buttons according to the schedule:
Confirm by clicking "✓" on iOS or "Save" on Android to save your new mode. |
|
11 - Let's create the new mode no. 6 (M6). Follow these steps:
The add page offers:

To delete it, change the schedule being used or switch it to another mode. |
Can I give multiple schedules the same name?
No, each schedule must have a unique name.
What temperatures are recommended?
In a home:
- Living area: 20.0°C
- Bedroom: 18.0°C
- Bathroom: 23.0°C
It is recommended to lower the temperature by 2 to 3°C in an unoccupied room.-
Why can't the “Default” schedule be deleted?
A schedule is required. “Default” cannot be deleted or renamed, but its times and setpoints can be modified.
-
How do I know if my device follows a schedule?
See the following methods:
|
From your device's control page: Check the control type and make sure that schedule mode is enabled. |
Through the heating menu: Check the status of your devices: schedule, manual, frost protection, off, or individual. |
-
Can I add a schedule to my favorites ?
No, schedules do not have a favorites system.
-
Are new heaters added to the schedule?
Yes, they are present but disabled by default in all available modes. For each mode, enable them and configure their setpoint.
-
Can I create multiple Away modes with different temperatures?
Yes. Each mode must have a different name and can use a distinct temperature.
-
Why doesn't my radiator turn off?
Some heaters cannot be turned off completely. They then switch to the minimum temperature or frost protection mode.
-
How long does schedule synchronization take?
It can take up to 15 minutes depending on the number of modes and devices involved. The more complex the schedule, the longer synchronization takes.
-
Can I copy a day's configuration to another schedule?
No. You must recreate it manually in the other schedule.
-
How do I change schedules?
In schedule mode, tap "⁝" on the “Current schedule” tile, then tap “Change schedule.” Select the desired schedule, then tap "✓" in the upper-right corner or "Save" at the bottom of the screen on Android.
-
Why does one of my radiators, configured to remain under individual control, automatically switch to “Home” control mode and follow the collective schedule setpoints instead of its individual schedule?
Even if its control type is set to “Individual control,” if it is included in one of the modes, it will automatically switch to “Home” control mode when that mode is applied. Please check that your heating equipment, which is intended to be controlled individually, is excluded from all existing modes. When it is excluded, its slider appears gray in the relevant mode.
