The Energy Bonus program is a key opportunity to contribute to the balance of the electrical grid. To ensure your participation is effective and your bonus fund grows smoothly, here are the best practices to follow:
1. Follow the Scheduled Preheating for Your Radiators
If you use a heating schedule, automatic preheating may be triggered by Enki just before a consumption peak.
These preheatings help to:
- Maintain your thermal comfort while the program optimizes your radiators’ consumption.
- Make it easier to validate your earnings, as the consumption reduction will be clearer and better rewarded.
2. Keep Your Water Heaters and Radiators Powered On and Connected
For the Energy Bonus program to operate invisibly and automatically, your equipment must be:
- Powered on (do not cut the power to your devices).
- Connected to your Enki system
A disconnected device will not be able to follow the program’s instructions, which could reduce the amount of your annual bonus.
3. Make Sure Your Enki Box Is Operational
Your Enki box is the link between the grid and your devices. It must be:
- Powered on
- Connected to the Internet
It is essential for intelligently controlling the heating of your hot water or radiators at the right time.
Note: For your water heater, Enki handles everything automatically by shifting its heating schedule for you.
4. Avoid Manual Changes During Demand Periods
Do not manually change the status of your devices (for example, by forcing your water heater to run or abruptly increasing the radiator temperatures) while the program is active.
👉 This cancels the ongoing optimization and results in a deduction from the annual bonus for the affected device.
By following these recommendations, you optimize your earnings (up to €15/year per radiator and €40/year per water heater) while ensuring your comfort: your water stays hot all day and your home stays at the right temperature!
